April Ross
April Ross is only one of the few beach volleyball players who have earned medals more than once at an Olympics. Alix klineman, who is playing for the first time at the Tokyo Olympics is hoping to secure her third Olympic medal. Ross is also hoping to win her first Olympic gold. As she turns 39, it could be Ross' last chance to win the Olympic gold. Her confidence is high nevertheless. Ross said on NBC Boston that if they perform at their very best, or even a good game her team can win a gold medal. Also, I am going put my faith in a touch of good luck. Ross was born in 1982 and lived in Costa Mesa California with her mother and sister, first began playing athletics at Newport Harbor High School. Ross played in numerous sports while attending Newport Harbor High School. She competed in basketball and the track as well as her volleyball skills in the indoors as a prep athlete. However, she was a standout in this sport. During her high school career she played middle blocker, outside setter and hitter on the volleyball court per her bio at the college. She was awarded by the Gatorade National Circle of Champions player of the Year in 1999 due to her accomplishments. Also, she won the 1999 Orange County Athlete of the Year trophy for volleyball. While Ross Klineman and Ross have been doing their thing since the year 2017, Klineman was already a big-time player on the beach scene even before the pair formed. In fact, she's won numerous events, one of which was with an iconic volleyball player. From 2007 to 2013 she was in a partnership by Jennifer Kessy, who is currently her coach. Kessy was Ross's teammate at the World Championships in 2009. They won a Silver Medal in the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. Misty May Treanor and Kerri Jennings, the legend team which won the 2012 Olympic Games in London, edged each other to take home the gold. It was fate that had them. Ross became Walsh Jennings' new partner when May-Treanor retired. Together, they took home bronze in beach volleyball at the Rio Olympics in the year the year 2016. Ross was a Trojans player for the USC in her college years before becoming a professional. Ross's Trojans experience was impressive. As a freshmen in 2000, her play earned her the Pac-10 and NCAA Freshman-of-the-Year honors. In 2000, her Trojans were also able to make it to the Final Four. She was devastated by a tragic incident in her second year, but she was able to make it an All-American in her second year. In the two years she played for the Trojans, she helped them achieve consecutive championships. She had established herself as an all-time great having won the 2003-2004 Honda Sports Award as the nation's top female collegiate volleyball player. Ross studied at USC in International Relations. Margie Ross was never able to watch her daughter's rise to fame as a beach volleyball player. As of 2001, when Ross was in her sophomore year in USC her mother passed away from breast cancer. But she still keeps her parents close to her the heart. In addition, Margie continues to be an inspiration to her on the beaches and throughout the world of.
