Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is a well-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz. Her birthplace was in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter the city she grew up in after her birthplace. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father is from an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Ryder has the title of being the younger sister of Uria who is half-sibling to Jubal & Sunyata. In the year Ryder was only seven her family moved into Mendocino County California. They had no electricity. Ryder was a voracious read and would spend her days reading a book because she didn't have a TV. Ryder began taking acting lessons at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was 13 years old. Her first role was a success on the large screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder faced bullying in high school. Her performing career, she thought she would be able to assist her. However, it didn't come to pass. Still she continued pursuing her dream. Her biggest break was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful roles in a variety of films. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
